INJ Domain Name Pre-Registration Begins

Injective is launching the first-ever .inj domains, leveraging the SPACE ID 3.0 infrastructure, with the highly anticipated pre-registration event having occurred on September 20th. In the lead-up to this event, Injective's ecosystem partners orchestrated a series of quests that granted exclusive access for pre-registering personalized INJ domain names, with over 100,000 individuals securing coveted whitelist spots for the launch.

With a multitude of domain names now officially registered, they are ready to be seamlessly utilized across the Injective Hub and Injective Explorer, featuring comprehensive send and search functionalities. Leap Wallet has also seamlessly integrated these domains within its interface, enabling smooth sending and receiving operations.

This pivotal step forward marks the beginning of the .inj domain name service's journey to become the decentralized identity standard within the expansive Injective ecosystem and its diverse range of decentralized applications (dApps). The integration of .inj domains will be pervasive, touching every corner of the rapidly expanding Injective ecosystem.

Injective Asia Tour Recap

Throughout September, Injective significantly expanded its influence in Asia by actively participating in two prominent events: Korea Blockchain Week and Token2049 in Singapore.

At Korea Blockchain Week, Chris Choi, Head of Product at Injective Labs, played a pivotal role in conducting a major technical developer workshop in collaboration with Injective contributors Hashed and DSRV. This workshop was aimed at engaging local builders and fostering technical expertise within the blockchain community.

Furthermore, Chris delivered a keynote address at the Klaytn Square Lounge 2023 conference, where he highlighted Injective's groundbreaking modules, pioneering efforts in composability, and the latest integration achievements with Klaytn.

Token2049 this year reached unprecedented heights, boasting a staggering turnout of over 10,000 participants. Amidst this large gathering, Injective showcased its most substantial presence to date on Asia's grandest Web3 stage.

Eric Chen, CEO and co-founder of Injective Labs, took center stage at Token2049, delivering a captivating keynote presentation. During his address, he unveiled the distinctive infrastructure and cutting-edge protocols, including the likes of Mito, that are currently under development on the Injective platform.

Furthermore, the Injective team orchestrated the highly successful Injective Asia Night event, which garnered an impressive registration turnout of over 2,000 enthusiastic participants.

Black Panther Launches on Mainnet

Black Panther, the asset management protocol on Injective, is now live on the Injective mainnet! The grid bots for $BTC, $ETH and $INJ perps have been operational for several weeks, earning a trading APY of over 40% from market volatility. Now users can access to Black Panther’s mainnet, deposit USDT to vaults, and earn the passive yield.

In addition, Black Panther has integrated its trading vaults with Helix, allowing its trading bots to place limit orders on the Injective orderbook through smart contract and implement various trading strategies.

Injective Unveils inEVM: A Groundbreaking Ethereum Rollup

Injective has unveiled the launch of inEVM, the first-ever Ethereum Virtual Machine capable of achieving true composability across Cosmos and Solana. inEVM was developed in collaboration with Caldera, a L2 rollup infrastructure platform backed by Sequoia. With inEVM, Ethereum developers gain unprecedented access to Injective’s global network, offering a new realm of opportunities to expand the reach of their protocols.

The inEVM launch follows the recent release of Injective’s inSVM (formerly known as “Cascade”), the first Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) rollup solution integrated into the larger IBC ecosystem.

The multi-VM development environment on Injective will allow builders to develop across the most popular tech stacks, code in solidity or rust, seamlessly compose across financial primitives and build a new future of Web3.
