Injective, the blockchain built for finance, announced today that Google Cloud is now a validator for the Injective network, enhancing the network’s security and reliability. Injective is now part of a select group of protocols that Google Cloud provides Web3 services for, which Injective will supplement by hosting its comprehensive Injective Developer suite on Google Cloud, further accelerating Injective’s developer adoption. All of these additions contribute to making it easier for Web2 and Web3 developers to build, launch, and grow applications on Injective.
As a validator, Google Cloud’s infrastructure and expertise in Web3 security and reliability will play a crucial role in:
- Securing the Injective network
- Validating transactions
- Contributing to the overall decentralization and robustness of the ecosystem
"Injective provides a bespoke infrastructure stack that is ideal for institutional onboarding. We are thrilled to utilize Google Cloud, which is undoubtedly one of the leading technology companies globally, to help further develop the network as a whole," said Eric Chen, CEO and Co-Founder of Injective Labs.
“Google Cloud is committed to providing the resources necessary to see Web3 flourish. We look forward to furthering our collaboration with foundation layer one networks like Injective, to provide enterprise-ready Web3 infrastructure and developer-friendly tools to enhance the ecosystem’s reliability and decentralization,” said Rishi Ramchandani, Head of Web3 GTM, Google Cloud Asia Pacific.
Injective will also now be able to leverage Google Cloud’s protocol accelerator tools through the Google Cloud Web3 Portal. These developer tools and features help blockchains enhance their developer experience with educational modules, testnet faucets and indexed data.
Injective is also hosting an AI Agent Hackathon in collaboration with Google Cloud, ElizaOS, and DoraHacks. Developers will be able to leverage Injective’s advanced AI Agent builder, iAgent, to build out unique AI Agent use cases across finance such as launchpads, trading, agentic organizations, among others.
How can developers utilize Google Cloud’s Web3 portal?
Developers building on Injective can now access Google Cloud's comprehensive suite of Web3 solutions, including its Web3 Faucet. This faucet is a crucial resource for developers, providing them with INJ testnet tokens to facilitate the development and testing of decentralized applications (dApps) on the Injective blockchain.
In addition, new content related to Injective will be added to Google Cloud’s Web3 learning portal. The educational platform offers developers the opportunity to enhance their blockchain development skills through a variety of resources including case studies and tutorials, providing practical examples of real life success stories of Web3 products built on Google Cloud’s infrastructure.
With these educational resources, developers can learn how to leverage advanced solutions and capabilities from Google Cloud and its Web3 partners, such as Injective, to contribute to the growth of the Web3 ecosystem.
Enhancing data accessibility
Through this cooperation, Injective's blockchain data is also accessible via Google Cloud’s BigQuery public data sets. This integration, known as Injective Nexus, enables developers access to core chain data from the Injective network in order to power the analytics engine of the ecosystem. Now, developers will have access to the entire blockchain state that is updated in real-time with more dashboards for curated data.
Developers and enterprises can interact with custom data sets across the Injective network, including real-time financial and transaction data. Injective data on BigQuery paves the way for building advanced DeFi applications, machine learning models, and institutional trading strategies.
Impact on the Injective ecosystem
Injective's collaboration with Google Cloud is poised to significantly impact its Web3 ecosystem by accelerating dApp development through access to Google Cloud's robust resources, increasing adoption by attracting Web2 and Web3 developers and enterprises, and enhancing network security and credibility with Google Cloud's validator node.
