Token2049 Recap: Injective blasts off in Singapore

The Injective team showed up and got down to business during Token2049—one of the premier web3 conferences in the world. Each day was jam-packed with activities, from keynotes and panels to merch giveaways at the Injective booth. The vibe during the conference was electric, providing an opportunity for builders and community members to learn what Injective was all about.

Day 1: Evangelizing the Injective Message

Tuesday, the madness began. Starting with a keynote presentation delivered by Mirza Uddin, Injective Labs Head of Business Development, at AppchainDay hosted by DoraHacks. The presentation touched on how when great tech is matched with a powerful business toolkit, growth becomes a flywheel.

Later in the day, at another side event called Epoch Day hosted by A41, Justin Wu, Injective Labs Ecosystem Growth Associate, continued the conversation from Korea Blockchain Week with a panel of participants. The panel focused on all things RWAs and Justin laid out how Injective is purpose-built to support RWAs, as well as one of the top 3 blockchains when it comes to RWA tokenization.

The first day then wrapped up at Multichain Day with Cooper Emmons, Injective Labs Business Development Associate, where he was joined by prominent players from Pyth and Solana for a panel surrounding trading and DeFi in 2024.

Day 2: Booth Pandemonium

On Wednesday, Token 2049 officially opened its conference doors and from the start of the day, the Injective booth was in high demand. People came from far and wide to visit the Injective booth, chat with the Injective team, and participate in the Injective grab and win campaign.

The "Grab and Win" campaign gave participants the chance to step into an enclosure, where they had to catch as many flying paper vouchers as possible within a set time. These vouchers could then be redeemed for prizes such as ETH, discounted staking rates, AirPods, or Amazon gift cards.

Beyond the booth festivities, Injective co-hosted a private event with Google Cloud. The event was hosted at Mo Bar, a high class spot with sweeping views of Marina Bay. In fact, the venue was right over the F1 racetrack that was set to host the Singapore Grand Prix just a few days after. There, attendees enjoyed meeting other blockchain enthusiasts over specially curated cocktails and bites.

Day 3: The Work Continues

On Thursday, there was no sign of slowing down. The team continued manning the booth and chatting with users and builders about Injective.

The team later in the day went to a Digital Asset Soirée co-hosted with Flowdesk and Mountain Protocol. This event facilitated deeper connections with institutions and RWA protocols for future collaborations.

The day concluded with Justin Wu's panel at the Coinstore Summit, where he discussed how Layer 1s and Layer 2s can create synergy to fuel the growth of the Web3 ecosystem.

APAC Interest, Confirmed.

Injective’s presence at Token2049 2024 has solidified itself as an ecosystem people want to hear from. The team was dedicated to show the global blockchain community that Injective is here building for the long term.

The team was thrilled to participate in a number of panels and keynotes, engaging in thought leadership discussions, and strengthening partnerships with current and new users at the Injective booth.

As the Injective team brings the excitement home, this is just the beginning of an exciting journey ahead. With so many exciting developments on the horizon, the team can’t wait to share more about the developments and solutions for developers and users alike that are taking shape for Injective. Not only will this provide a better user experience, but also meet builders where they are on their journey whether they’re a beginner or advanced coder.
