Injective Hub Release
The Injective Hub has just launched!
Injective Hub will provide a unified platform for all things DeFi on Injective such as staking, governance and wallets for the Injective community.
The entire user interface has been upgraded to reflect core ideas behind the Injective rebrand earlier this month while a number of new features have been implemented to ensure that the staking, governance, and on-chain DeFi processes are more seamless than ever before.
Check out Injective Hub here.
Background
Injective staking was officially released through two discrete phases over the course of the past year.
The first iteration was introduced via Equinox Staking which served as an incentivized staking testnet. During this period, millions of INJ were staked by users who also helped to test various parameters and functionalities of staking such as delegating to validators. Unlike other testnets, the Injective community enabled the use of real INJ on the Equinox testnet which provided an ideal environment for emulating mainnet staking.
Mainnet staking on the Canary Chain was released at the end of Q2 which allowed the global Injective community to secure the Injective network. Stakers also had the opportunity to take part in Injective’s decentralized governance processes such as launching the Injective exchange alongside the first spot markets. Governance soon expanded beyond just market listings as external programs such as the Injective Stargazers Ambassador program were proposed through the DAO-based voting system.
The Canary Chain has witnessed a surge of interest with over $100 Million locked into the network by the community. During this time, Injective also underwent a major rebrand to pioneer the DeFi hub of the new internet economy. Part of the rebrand entailed updating the visual brand identity such as typefaces, colors and the overall aesthetic of Injective products.
Injective Hub is in many ways a culmination of the work done by the community with respect to staking, governance and the rebrand. Now anyone will be able to access Injective products through a sleek user interface while interacting with a dynamic decentralized backend.
Injective Hub: DeFi Reimagined
Injective Hub aims to provide an unmatched user experience for a diverse array of on-chain functions such as staking, governance, and wallets.
The Injective community is contributing to highly sophisticated technical products and financial primitives. However, the goal has always been to abstract away these complexities in order to provide a user experience that is accessible for both experienced individuals and newcomers alike. Injective Hub does just that with a revamped platform for a variety of use cases.
Dashboard
The dashboard of the Hub displays overall metrics for INJ while also enabling easy access to a number of functions. Some features include delegating your INJ as well as a real-time portrayal of blocks being added to the Injective Chain by validators.
Clicking on any of the blocks will take you to the current Injective explorer page (the Injective explorer will be upgraded soon too).
Wallet
The wallet page showcases important details regarding your holdings. Here you can view your balances, delegations, re-delegations, and rewards.
The right-hand side of the wallet allows users to transfer assets across Ethereum and the Injective Chain.
Staking
The staking page is where users will be able to view all active validators on the Injective network.
The initial page will display high level details such as a validator’s voting power and commission. You can see more details on each validator by pressing the “Details” button. You can also delegate to any validator in only a few clicks!
Injective is secured by some of the most reputable and trusted vlaidators within the crypto industry such as Binance, Chorus One, Figment, Helios Staking, Huobi Pool, Staked.us, Ubik Capital, and much more.
Upon the release of the canonical chain, anyone in the community will be able to become a validator on the network as well.
Governance
A major differentiator between Injective and other protocols in crypto today is that all decisions are conducted by the community-driven DAO. So all market listings, protocol level changes and even new programs such as the Injective Stargazers Ambassador Program undergo a voting process.
The governance system is a core backbone of Injective and aids in retaining full decentralization of the network.
The governance page serves as a frontend for both past and ongoing proposals. You can easily learn more details by clicking on any proposal and take part in voting. Anyone within the Injective community can create a new proposal using a handy button found at the top right of the Governance page.

Upcoming Upgrades
Over the coming weeks, there will be a Injective Hub V2 release that will bring along new features that help to increase the overall utility of the the Hub itself.
