Today, Injective is excited to unveil its collaboration with Arbitrum, the foremost Layer 2 technology stack empowering projects to innovate and expand within Ethereum.

By customizing Arbitrum’s unique Orbit stack, Injective’s inEVM is now even more bespoke, unlocking new frontiers for inEVM and empowering users with seamless, efficient, and cost-effective transactions.

inEVM was already meticulously engineered to meet the unique needs of Injective and the broader Ethereum ecosystem. Working alongside Arbitrum allows a broader developer toolkit for inEVM users which was previously only available in the Ethereum L2 ecosystem. In turn, this makes inEVM more powerful than ever before, providing the developer access to Ethereum while simultaneously retaining the lightning fast speeds and low fees on Injective.

What is Arbitrum?

Arbitrum presents a suite of Ethereum scaling solutions designed to simplify the creation and utilization of decentralized applications. This comprehensive suite encompasses protocols, chains, and SDKs that power the Arbitrum ecosystem. One of its core offerings is Arbitrum Orbit, which empowers any project to establish their own Rollup and AnyTrust chains.

At the core of inEVM lies Arbitrum’s Orbit stack, a powerful toolkit developed by Offchain Labs. This stack serves as the foundation for building scalable, secure, and efficient layer 2 solutions, facilitating the seamless integration of smart contracts across multiple blockchain platforms.

A Robust inEVM Environment

By harmoniously integrating components across Arbitrum and the native Injective mainnet, inEVM is able to offer a developer experience like no other.

For instance, inEVM is able to leverage INJ as its native gas token which is previously unheard of in the world of L2 rollups. In addition, inEVM is able to offer the same familiar dev tooling found on Ethereum such as Hardhat and Foundry. All of this is achieved while retaining the lightning fast speeds and low gas fees found on Injective itself.

inEVM not only enhances transaction processing efficiency but also underscores Injective's dedication to fostering a user-friendly and economically sustainable ecosystem.

Furthermore, inEVM transactions can qualify for participation in Injective's innovative Burn Auction. This auction mechanism systematically burns a percentage of all protocol fees on a weekly basis. Injective's Burn Auction serves to capture protocol value for all users, offering benefits to participants across the ecosystem—be they users, community members, or developers.

The Epicenter for Ethereum and Injective

The significance of this collaboration extends far beyond the realms of a single blockchain network. With inEVM, users gain access to a seamless platform connecting Ethereum, Injective and Cosmos, enabling cross-chain compatibility and fostering a more interconnected blockchain landscape. This interoperability opens up a myriad of possibilities for developers and users alike, enabling the seamless transfer of assets and liquidity across disparate blockchain networks.

As Injective continues to bridge the gap between Ethereum, Cosmos and other widely adopted L1s, including Solana, it steadfastly advances its mission in creating a more democratized financial future through decentralization.
